Data Access Studio for Key & End-Users

Built from the ground up, Data Access Studio helps you to browse and query your OneWorld/EnterpriseOne® or Worldsoftware data using its graphical interface. 
It will present you readable table names and column headers not the mythical SQL Names like AN8 while you are simply looking for the Address Number:

There is no limitation to the tables or business views you want to work with - they are all available for your query.  Available that is if you are permitted by your JD Edwards security settings, because Data Access Studio ties in to your normal JD Edwards Security Profile: What you are not allowed to see while signed-on in JD Edwards, you are not allowed to see with Data Access Studio.

But how to find the tables or Business View you need?
Simply by typing your text like "Customer Ledger" in the Search which will return all JDE Applications, Tables, Business Views and Reports. Then just simply double-click on what you need and Data Access Studio opens up the Table or Business View for you.

Because Data Access Studio is Windows compliant, all keys (CTRL-C, left and right mouse button, etc) work like you are already used to - no new tricks to learn there.

If you want to export your data to MS Excel, simply cut and paste and Data Access Studio will copy your selection including the correct date-formats and punctuation. If you want to set-up a dynamic link between Data Access Studio and MS Excel simply use the provided functionality. Data Access Studio will dynamically populate your MS Excel worksheet and even create one of 28 different charts for your dashboard presentation!

You can start your reports by using one of our more than 90 predefined most commonly used reports - you are ready to run your reports in minutes!

A progress bar will show you that Data Access Studio is active for you, so you do not have to press that ENTER button twice. Data Access Studio is even giving you a Visual Assist while you are looking for that one value in your UDC table.

Grouping and totaling your data becomes a two-keystroke activity, all directly to be seen on-screen for you. If you want to add columns to your query and perform calculations like subtracting, multiplying, margins and many more, just add your own Calculation Column to your query.

When you are done, you can easily save your query and share it with other Data Access Studio users without having to call the IT Department and having to wait for a Deployment Cycle, it is 10 second simple task you can do yourself.
You can even run your reports with the Data Access Studio scheduler and distribute the results by email.

Since Data Access Studio is Read-Only, you cannot update data in your JD Edwards database - no chance for accidental updates here.
